Roland E. Miller

Dr. Roland Miller from Canada had lived in Malabar for nearly a quarter of a century, and the present work reflects his long years of intimate personal acquaintance with Mappilas themselves, as well as knowledge of Islam in general. He holds M.A and Ph.D. degree in theology.
As an ordained missionary of the fields of social service, educational and literary activity, and in other ministries. From 1977 he has been professor of Islam and World Religions at Luther College, University of Regina, where he also served as Academic Dean and as Director of the University's Religious Studies program. He has been visiting scholar at Harvard University, attached to the centre for the study of World Religions, and at Luther North-western seminary in St. Paul, U.S.A. Muslim Friends: Their Faith and feeling: An introduction to Islam (1996), Muslims and the Gospel: A reflection on Christian sharing (2006) are some of his famous other works.
